Care
Candle Care
Each Stone & Still candle is hand-poured in a handcrafted concrete vessel using premium fragrance oils and a clean-burning wax blend. Following a few simple care practices will help you get the best fragrance throw, a longer burn time, and the most even burn possible.
First Burn Matters
Allow your candle to burn for approximately 3 hours during its first use, or until the melted wax reaches the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunneling and creates an even burn pattern for the life of the candle.
Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. A properly trimmed wick helps minimize soot, prevents excessive flame height, and promotes a cleaner, more consistent burn.
Burn Safely
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from drafts, children, pets, curtains, and any flammable materials. Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface while burning.
Burn Time Guidelines
For optimal performance, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning for extended periods, as excessive heat can affect fragrance performance and the longevity of the vessel.
When to Stop Burning
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning beyond this point may cause the vessel to become excessively hot.
Reuse Your Vessel
Once your candle has reached the end of its life, clean out any remaining wax and enjoy your handcrafted concrete vessel as a catchall tray, planter, desk accessory, or decorative piece.
A well-cared-for candle burns cleaner, lasts longer, and delivers the fragrance experience it was designed to provide.
